Hi guys. need some help here.
Say you'd want to use a flash bracket. I have a d200, but i'm not sure which flash cord to use? I saw sc 28/29. But it didn't seem like it was mountable in the flashbracket itself. Is the SC 24 useable on the d200 to the sb 800 combi? or is there any other alternative besides the SU 800? thanks |

SC 28/29 is able to connect to SB800 vai D200 hot shoe. You D200/SB800 manual have a page on the type of sync cable that can be used.
SC 24 long time ago liao. YMMV Add: SC 24 use the 10pin port next to the pc sync port but might not work. Last edited by longkangman; 8th August 2007 at 05:47 PM. |

You can use the built in flash to trigger the SB-800.

the is a screw hole at the SC28/29 flash holder side, find a correct screw size to screw on your flash bracket.

thanks for the feedback. Lol i know i can use the sb 800 as a slave to the cam's flash as a commander. But then it'll defeat the purpose of using a flash bracket. =)
i didnt know there is a screw mount on the sc 28. all along i was under the impression that it was cam hot shoe to sync cord on the flash, which is sc 24 isnt it? |

Why would it defeat the purpose of using the flash bracket? The built-in flash can be set not to contribute to the flash exposure, just for triggering the slave flash.

Thanks. think i found the answer alr.
the Sc 28 / 29 has a female tripod screw mount on the bottom of the flash end. to attach to the flash bracket, you need to remove the hotshoe mount and fit in a custom anti twist bracket before mounting the sc 28 to it. |
