    Description
    The much awaited annual Ngee Ann City National Lion Dance Championships is back! For the 13th consecutive year, the Civic Plaza will be transformed into a battle ground, as Singapore's top lion dance troupes pit their skills among one another, to prance off with the Champion title for the Freestyle and Traditional categories. Witness their impressive display of acrobatic stunts and deft dance steps as they display to the beats of drums and cymbals. What's more, you will be entertained by the fringe performances such as the 24 Style Jie Lin Drum, Dragon Dance & Northern Lion Dance etc specially arranged for all.

    Riding high on this wave, look out for an all new aesthetics award this year - The Best Props Award in the traditional category!

    An event not-to-be-missed, come on down to Civic Plaza now and don't forget to bring your cameras along!

    It is at night time, don't think it is nice to use flash on the participant due to safety issues.

    I'm quite sure the pace will be fairly well lit. In fact it should be quite bright.
