Default len diff.

Hi anybody can advise between Nikkor 18-70mm and Sigma 17-70mm lens.. any the diff?

The sigma has better aperture size (larger) and a wider wideangle than the nikon which are its advantages. However, in terms of price and picture quality, it loses out to the nikon.

My take? Nikon. I'd rather trust nikon lens whenever possible...

Is the Sigma lens AF or MF?

Its a AF, Anyways you can choose to use it in MF if desired.

I think you're referring to the 2 lenses released by Sigma rather recently
17-70mm F2.8-4.5 DC MACRO HSM and 18-50mm F2.8 EX DC MACRO HSM

Ya kind of interested with the Sigma 17-70mm, compare the images. I kind of fall for it, what do u think. What is the price now ?
