2 Flowers

Taken in changi airport from one of the gardens there. This is my first macro shot using only the kit lense of nikon D40........appreciate if someone can give me pointers to improve and how to correctly do it....tnx

For starters, your flash is way too harsh. Ideally you'd want softer lighting.
