I have the Canon A710IS and wish to know if there's any program I can use to sync the camera to a computer and take time laspe photographs.
eg: 1 shot every 20 seconds.... Anyone know of any programs I can use? Thanks~!!

think theres a program included in the CD that came with the cam..

Thanks. I tried it but it's just for remote capture. Doesn't have any time laspe function whereby I can set a capture frequency and just leave the camera/computer to to it's thing.
eg: 1 frame every 30 secs for 100 frames I know of some software that allow you to do this with a webcam but anyone knows of anything that'll work with a digital camera???

hmm.. not sure if the A710IS has the intervalometer function, its buried somewhere in the menus..

It has - but only for a max of 10 frames... after that you'll need to press the shutter again...

well then get do the manual way. not much fun letting a computer programme do the timelapse for you. and manual you can move the camera yourself. can make a moving timelapse which looks much nicer. all you need is a tripod and maybe a remote if you want more stable photos. =) have fun
