Welcome to Clubsnap..

after register for three years, and this is your first three posts here??

and now you are looking for a "wanted" photographer shooting your wedding without permission from you(?)

You should get the contact of the photographer there and then, now you looking for the photographer here will be a like searching needle in a haystack.

nevertheless, good luck.

Wishing you have a blissful marriage.

Perhaps if you posted some of the pics you already have, the person might remember better?
A reward might also help.

yes, I notice.

if she knew someone is taking the photos on that day, she should get the photographer's contact during that time.

now is a bit too late, how does she know this is the place that the photographer always "hang out"?

Thanks for your reply. For the record, I have no idea how it shows 3 posts here in this thread. I only posted once on this thread. I only joined cos I want to find the photog.

I wanted to include a picture here but i realised i need to link it to a website. Very troublesome.

It is a needle in a haystack but better than never. AND for the record, I was the bride... how do you expect me to ask for his contact when I only noticed him when I was smiling for group photos? It's not that easy coordinating a wedding when you are the bride. You can't control everything.

Thanks again.

your posts are merge together in one thread by the mod here as your multi posting in different subforum.

you can check out the faq for posting images.

I know you are the bride, and I know the couple need to take care of many things before, after and during their wedding day, if you would notice someone is taken some photos of your wedding, all you need to do is ask your friends/ siblings to go and get this person's contact.

nevertheless, good luck to your finding.

I suppose you didnt engage a photographer then? Else your photographer should have taken the setup.

Btw, I don't think you can hotlink direct from friendster. Perhaps you can try uploading into CS very own server under "gallery" or try some others like photobucket, etc... and use their URL to upload.

Cheers

I think she did engaged Wansheng, U see the photo credit feldberyl under the photo she try to attach.

For TS, maybe you can check if your official photographer manage to capture any photo of this "unofficial photographer", den post it here and we help you to identify who is he, front view, back view, side view also can, haha.

Out of curiousity, WS seems to be a rather competent photographer; why are you looking for extra shots? If you are going to compile them, the lack of consistency will be weird.

Wansheng did a fantastic job. I am hoping to compile more pictures but more importantly I thought it was pretty rude of the photographer to just go around taking pictures of our wedding without permission and I just wanted to have a chat with him. He is apparently a student from some society or club. Clubsnap is one of the leading forums for photogs and so I am searching for a needle in a haystack concentrated with photography enthusiasts. I give up on putting the images. Besides don't think its wise for me to do that since I don't own the images.

Though it is indeed rude of the photographer to take photos without permission but legally speaking, there is nothing wrong with it.

Now that you've mentioned this, perhaps he/ she will not even admit being the photographer

As for the photos, it is rightfully yours (unless it is an unpaid shoot which I doubt so). There is nothing wrong for you to post your own photos online.

Cheers

hmmm, I think its all right for you to put up the images if you had engaged and paid the photographer to shoot for your wedding.. its like sharing your own wedding photographs, you see wedding couples doing that all the time.

And perhaps out of courtesy, just inform WS, I think he surf CS also. He is a nice guy and I am sure he will agree Afterall, it may serve as free advertising for him too

I am very sorry to here that you were unhappy said photographer took the picture of you at your wedding. However, if the wedding is in a public place, the photographer is not tresspassing, you really have very little thing you can do to stop him from taking pictures of the comings and goings in a public place.

You can hired "security guards" to stop them, but legally, you have little ground to stand on.

I also beg to differ on your comment regarding the photographer being rude. Again, if you are in a public place, you are really fair game for anyone carrying a camera.

However, he can take the pictures, he may post them or use them for non-commercial purposes, he may not sell them without your release, nor can he depict you in any perceived negative way.

Forget about the whole thing lor. You had a great wedding, just enjoy the good memories!
