    Default Waterfall

This photo was taken during summer time in China

It is located at the border between China and Vitenam and named the bigger waterfall in Asia. I have removed the sky portion and zoom into the waterfall to show how water rushing down the hill as you can see it from this photo.

I would like to seek your comments on how to improve it better.

    Thank you very much.

actually i would prefer to see some of the sky portion, so that we can have a sense of scale how large is this waterfall, from your photo, I don't see the impact of this waterfall being majestic and etc.

This is a quite nice object and angle. There are a few things that I would like to see in this picture:

    1) Compose the fall so that the right side and left side of the fall can be in the frame. Right now the left side is kindda cropped out and the right side with dark area is a little distracting

    2) I like the previous comment to include partion of the sky, however best sky probably in the early morning or late everning where the color is punchier

    3) Try to use slower shutter speed to get the milky flow of the fall.

    Cheers...

Thank you, ~Arcanic~ & blu370n3 for your comments.

I have one to include the sky portion but not as good as this zoom in version.
It was about noon time when this photo was taken and a very cloudy day.
Noted taken about point 1 and how can I not doing it after travelling all the way from Singapore to there.

ya, after taken this side view, I walked an extra miles to capture the front view.

If I zoom out to include the sky portion (to see the whole picture) something will be missing and you will never see this water rushing down the hill clearly.

At different season of the year (spring, autumn & winter), you will see different view here and this one is for summer time.

By the way, here's EXIF information

    Make: OLYMPUS IMAGING CORP.
    Camera: E-300
    Shutter: 1/80 sec
    Aperature: f/22.0
    ExposureProgram: 3
    ISO: 100
    MeteringMode: 5
    Focal Length: 45.0 mm
    ExposureMode: 0
    Handheld without tripod

    Cheers,

You have a few choices to showcase the beauty of 德天瀑布.
The picture that you chose to upload show the raw awesome power of the waterfall in summer.
In which case, I feel that a closer shot would add more punch.
Or you can like the others had said, moved back to show more sky.
This is one taken last winter showing the waterfall
