41. yeah 3 more pics to go (hand tired)
it's kit chan's turn again this year

42. 2nd last photo!

43. happy birthday singapore!

Q&A
1. Why no firework?
I went down and thought more of enjoying the show than taking nice photos, so I left my tripod at home.

2. So little photos of the performance?
Nothing much compare to the other stunts leh... (frm a guy's point of view)

3. How do you feel about this year's NDP?
The best ever!!! You guys really really should go down or watch on TV, no regret man.

4. Why your photos so jialat one?
Too many photos, lazy to PS one by one...

5. So, where should we go if we want to shoot fireworks?
Shears Bridge is the best location (but dun drive and park on top there pls, 3 traffic polices cars are ever ready), if not, somewhere behind the stage or at lease at the same side of the river. (Esplanade is ok.)
*Hint, make sure you frame the buildings at CBD area in your camera. Why? You'll know.

Nice colourful and energetic pics! Thanks for sharing! Was it easy to use the Wigma 10-20?

Lol 'Wigma' is an interesting lens to use. Focusing is fast and it is, well, wide.

I'd say it's very convenient to use other than the lens-changing part. Although I already need to thank 18-200VR for reducing the chances of changing lens.

Nice coverage ....
even got narration somemore .... very interesting.
I went there during the final rehearsal ... I agree with you that apart from the standard, boring, dunno-what-is-it performance .... the rest are superb ...

Very nice series. Thanks for sharing.

Wonder where the rest of the photographers would be allowed to go during the actual NDP as many places were blocked on the preview day...

I believe only official photogs with valid pass are free to walk around.

Fun, no need to change lens, so shiok.

Last time 18-70 + 70-200, change until I feel sorry for the camera mount.

But now still got a 10-20... haiz. Maybe shall get a 2nd hand body, use as lens cap.

Fabulous coverage. Missed soooo many rehearsals. Either too tired or too busy to go there and today is the last one before the big day. Hope I am able to go there for the shoot.

Going thru your contributions I feel like I've walk thru the NDP myself! Especially your #24 and #34 You mean you used 18-200 and a Sigma 10-20 without tripod? They look incredibly tack sharp. Fab pics!
