Hello Folks,

I'm a newbie in photography world, though have been playing with film SLR since 2001 for taking record photos only. Just purchased a new DSLR 3 months ago and thinking of getting more serious with it financially (to get some return for my investment )

I have read a lot of basic theory of photography since purchasing my DSLR and practised it. My question: is basic photography course relevant for somebody who has more or less understood the theory? Or shall I go for advanced course, e.g. lighting, wedding, B&W, etc.?? Is basic photography course a pre-requisite before taking an advanced course? What kind of benefits we can get at the basic theory other than technical matters?

Need your all advices and experience sharings. Thanks a lot.
