Very well-exposed shot. It would be perfect without the leaf but still a very good shot.

I actually quite like the leave at the foreground. Without it, the picture will just look like any other clean, if not, clinical staged shot. As it is now with the out of focused leave, it depicts naturally the leafy environment the iguana was in.
I see that you've used an aperture of f16 to retain DOF of the iguana. The trade off was the slight distracted leave at the bottom centre. Would using f8 or f11 be a good compromise? You have done well to have kept the eye in focus. |

Thanks for the critique ... actually I was taking some insect shots and it came in front of me ... I approached it slowly in a distance of 1 feet and keep as low as possible (actually my 2 arms were resting on the ground) .. I agree the grass look a bit of distracting but I kind of like its eye expression ...
