Some snapshots to share from Guangzhou and the surrounding towns. I'll try to remember the names of the places and update.
Appreciate comments. I think my trademark is still there ![]() #1 ![]() #2 ![]() #3 This pagoda has been there for more than 2000yrs and has not been repainted. Was told that it was originally painted with a special mixture of paint and silver powder. Never needs repainting. ![]() #4 ![]() |

Nice series... now I see both mixture with blue sky and duo-tone pictures.... So many white trees. Haha
My few cents... Duo-tone shots are slightly over... The blue sky series' exposure are ok, but I like the all of them. BTW, time to clean your CCD liao. ![]() Cheers! ![]() |

Ohhh PLEASE DUN DO THAT!!!!!
![]() I like #7. composition wise is NAB! you might have lost the effect if he was looking at your direction. the rounded cap is better. Duo tone is nice. like what bobby say, some slightly over. |

Why, scared you cannot eat or you puke is it?
How's this re-do, highlights reduced to bring in details. Especially the leaves. #11 ![]() |

Can't help that pole, if I move forward will not be able to get the boat at the bottom right. moving back the pole will still be there. I felt that the pic would look better with the boat at the bottom right. Ya, have been travelliing quite a bit. Guangzhou is my 5th this year, including those short road trips I made with the guys. Subject matter on #7 works for me. Personally, i'd try to get a wider shot or to do a pano if the scenery allows.
Nice series. |
