The wild and scenic side of Genting
Here are a few shots of my last visit to Genting. Having been there quite a few times, I decided to explore areas which I've never been to. The weather was on my side and I was rewarded with fantastic views of the sun rising above an ocean of clouds.
Here are a few shots:  #1 Morning freshness  #2 Distant peaks looked like islands rising through misty ocean. Taken just before mist swirled in.  #3 It soon became far from clear, but pretty effects can be seen during brief periods when the mist cleared.  #4 It was completely clear again by 9am, and I was left with a vibrantly colored landscape. |

For me #1 cool...detail of grass sharp.
#2 like the frame of the scenry.

I like pic 1 most. Pic 2 the sun is too bright. Just my opinion.

Pic #1 and 4 are my favs.
The colour diffusion in 1 is brilliant and 4 shows serenity and calmness. 3 doesnt quite work for me. A little to harsh. |

I didn't venture far from the hotels and theme park at all. All four pictures were taken along the road leading from the First World Hotel to Theme park hotel, ie along the perimeter of the theme park. #1 to #3 were taken around 7 plus am, and #4 at 8am+. I haven't tried taking pictures further away from the road, but more interesting angles may be in store.. |
