NDP Displays

Haha.. OK, I admit, after seeing the pros loading up so many NDP photos, I would like to share with you guys what I have also. But please do bear in mind that I'm a newbie, so the result is not as great. Sincere C&C are welcome.

This are series that taken over a few rehearsals. Some were fortunate to have a clear day, so the photos are much clearer and sharp. Also, none of these photos went through any PP works.

Thanks. Those were taken at Merlion Park, using my 70-200mm len, only to realise that they came too close to the range so ended up part of the boat got cropped.

You seem to have covered quite a wide variety of situations during the rehersals. Maybe you could think about narrowing down the scope a little and concentrating on getting better shots of these or just relax and have fun watching the parade. I dun even have a chance to get near to the NDP parade and must literraly shoot airplanes at the beach.

Yes, the truth is that it's part of my job to take photos in NDP, so it's very much a work requirements that my own interest to go and take photos at various perspectives or positions. It was my boss's idea that to take photos from various positions and angle, some of his ideas were truly very bold and creative! That's includes of going up the the helipad of Swissotel! Haha... Just too bad the hotel management rejected our request.

During the photo-taking, had already enjoyed watching the parade.

You can go to the Esplanade, and you can get very close to the parade itself, so no need to shoot aeroplane at the beach.
