Default Inkjet: which of your colours ran out first?

Just curious whether its the same for everybody... maybe its because my pics contain a lot of light cyan and light magenta....

My S800 ran out of ink in the following order:

(1) Photo Cyan
(2) Photo Magenta
(3) Yellow
....
rest not out yet

What is interesting is that the photo colours ran out first. Seems to suggest that these colours are used often by the printer driver to render colours. Also suggests that 6 colour printer better than 4 colour printer - in the sense that if Photo Cyan was not available, the printer has to dither normal cyan to create the same colour.

From what I read from the net, most ppl reported running out the PC/PM 1st, which is a natural thing since most ppl got this printer to print photos. For me, my PM ran out 1st, and after another 1 or 2 more A4 photo print, the PC ran out.

According to the ink level indicator, mine run out at about the same rate. Which makes ThinkTanks moot for me.

Ofcourse, advantage is obvious. If one of the colors is used up only that the color ink need to be replaced. Reduce your running costs as it has a level indicator.
