First one is swee!
Colours in second one more variance, but shape not so nice, and a bit cluttered. |

Good morning my Friend Was torn between going to ME vs where you were. Decided to head for ME again for two reasons....wind direction and the building's FW. At least the effort was not wasted. Cheers and happy shooting on actual day |

Oh man, compared to the series of fire work shots posted in here by few pros, to mine... I felt so ashamed to post my fire work shots here already... Cause mine were 'clouded' with too much smoke...
Great shots! Like them all... Any PP done? |

One more question. The CDB skyline looks underexposed and not warm. What WB did you set?

Good evening to everyone,
Tks for the comments and views. Ans to some of the qn Yes, I used black card technique WB was changed to Incandescent during PP to bring down the red/orange cast as I perfer a cooler sky Shots were taken at f16 The building looks a little underexpo as I need to mask off the smoke...no choice ![]() As for the loc, head for Tanjung Rhu where the last condo facing CBD is, and walk from the water edge. Need to do a bit of obstacle clearing and becareful dont fall into the sea as the whole place is boardup for park development. Good luck walking there Last edited by Jer; 29th July 2007 at 10:12 PM. |

For Black Card, how do you use ? Can explain a bit more. Was used Bulk with a cable release. So, one hand for release, another for black card. How far the black card to lens ? Will try next time. Parking at Tanjung Rhu is a problem ? Any bus ? Thnx, Jer ! Last edited by Outlook; 29th July 2007 at 10:20 PM. |

Use cable release to control the shutter in bulb mode and lock the release. Use either one hand or both hands to hold on to the black card. Make sure it is big enough to cover the entire lens (including the Hood) and hold it infront of the lens without causing movt ie not touching the lens The rest is up to your imagination when you want to open or cover. Practice a few time and you will get use to the routine. Afterall, still have SFF2007 to shoot the following week As for bus svc there, not too sure of it Anyway, arrange to park where we meet last year...hahaha Cheers and happy shooting |
