hahahaha! i was hovering a little on the edge too :P too many pple i couldnt splay my tripod legs wide upen so i didnt extend them at all. instead raised the midsection all the way and poke it through the railing

The angle for ME is limited as you will be seeing the FW from a repeated spot most of the time due to the orientation to the centre stage

Salvaged another one..

Last night's experience was very important for me.. I realise several equipment limitation, setting errors etc..

I will try to shoot in portrait position on actual day and prevent using wide angle, hopefully reduce distortion.

Will also try buy a bigger tripod and bring a string along (tie camera to railing!)

i was there behind the NTUC building too.
reached there at about 7pm got limited space.
nice series you got there.

we forgot that after national anthem still got another round.
was already shooting other things when suddenly the after anthem round came.
just watch.

haha.. ya.. I did not know that too! Lucky i was walking with my camera still mounted on tripod. So quickly open up the legs again and managed to snap a few.

Actually i was there abt 7 plus also. All 'front row seats' taken up already. But i found a small gap with no one there, very happy.. went over there.. got a BIG hole in the ground! Not usuable space.. thats why no one there!

whahahaaa... my tripod was setup next to the hole behind the bangala.
