    Just got back from a trip to NZ.

    Took this in Queenstown when climbing up to Ben Lomond pt. 1760m

    Potentially a great shot but the composition and perspective need to be addressed.

    It is ashame that the trees are all slanted to one side.

    If I were you, I would be tempted to use a mini zoom to compress the perspective a little bit and to loose the distracting highlight (sky) on top...

    Default unfortuantely

    Yeah unfortunately I was really tired after the 6hr hike. plus it was really dark and I did not carry my tripod. Anyway it was shot using a tree trunk for support. Maybe I can PS it a bit see if it helps.

    For me, except for the slight slanting of trees, I think the composition is fine. The highlights, both at top and bottom do contribute to a dream like effect to the picture. I like it!

    Well I was standing on the path going downslop. And without a tripod and slight drizzle plus I am being rushed that was the best I could shoot from the side of a lone tree.

    I think I can ps the picture to make the trees straight.

    hmm...
