I love the wide-angle pic of the table coral! The clarity of the water looks amazing!

The clarity of the water is amazing! ... ambient light on the wide angle coral shot?

How does one get the light rays? I don't do enough wide angles and those that I've tried to get that effect ... don't come out.

According to Mathieu Meur's book on UW photography, use a fast shutter speed. If you are in manual mode or shutter priority mode, use 1/125s or more.

Yes. ambient light and fill in flash.

You can use combination for lager aperture + slow shutter speed or low aperture + fast shutter speed. But, there must be sun ray in order capture such effect.
