Taken this morning, a real noisy bunch of birds, creating a din and attracted my attention. But it is a refreshing and enjoyable sight too.

at first i preferred the 2nd pic because it was less cluttered but the after looking longer I think i like the 1st pic more because the numbers do make an impact. Very nice that you got them all arranged like that

Thanks Erwin,
I share the same sentiment too. In fact I was really trying to figure how to capture this scene, hence I tried to show the numbers in one shot and another as clean a shot as possible. In the end as you have pointed out, I too prefer the first. ![]() |

nice nice, I mean the bird, parrot or parakeet... whatever it was, I like the birds and hence the shot
Where did you take this? Changi point where I saw many ??? What lens range was that? 500mm? 500mm + converter? |

I would guess that they were taken outside the home.... wake up one morning, hear loud squawking noises, look out window and see a whole bunch in the tree
![]() These are Red-breasted Parakeets, a species that escaped a few generations ago. Those in Changi point can be photographed with 300 f/4 since they basically ignore humans. |
