Pentax USA Photography Cruises 2008

Just saw this article, in case some pentaxians here are interested.

Pentax USA is sponsoring Photographer's Cruises with Cruise West in 2008. Professional Pentax photographers will host on-board workshops, and there'll be hands on instruction with the Pentax line up of equipment, including the newest Pentax products.

How nice it will be if such activities can be organised in this region by Pentax.

Seeing how 'difficult' it is for Shriro to even show face in popular local fairs and exhibitions, we can forget about counting on them for something of this scale.
Our best hopes would probably lie in the distributors for our neightbors like Malaysia or Hong Kong.
Sure wish I have the budge to join the Alaska cruise though...

Seems like the Malaysia distributor was also Shriro?

Alaskan cruise = whales, icebergs
Caribbean cruise = many ports of call stopovers
Local cruise = gambling and buffet pictures ???

Lens looks like the new DA*50-135.
