Highly possible is the sensor gone case. Better bring to canon to check.

Hmm, ya should be sensor problem.

If you do a quick search. The problem are on certain models of cameras, which used Sony CCD.

They used to replace the CCD for free. But it's been a long time, so no idea if it's still vaild. Neverthless, should go down and see what they got to say.

CCD spoil liao.

Happened to my A80 last year.

Good thing was, Canon replaced it free of charge even though my A80 was 3yrs old then and not under warranty! Canon rocks!

Hi Melvin,

Same thing happened to my A95 about 1 mth ago. Went down to Canon for servicing and they replaced the CCD for free (no more warranty). Sent it back to me by post too; saves me the trip down to harbourfront for collection. 2 thumbs up for Canon service centre!

Cheers,
Nams
