What is with CS forums?

Has there been any change lately to the way posts are handled?

I mean, before when I posted a comment I could follow all the threads where commented through a checkmark to the right. I can no longer see that checkmark. Anybody knows why? It is really difficult this way, without any trace possibilities.

Don't really understand what you mean. There does not seem to be any change to me as far as I'm concerned. If you meant the tick or checkmark at each thread where you have posted any comments, it's still there. The ticks are only not there if you are not logged in as it is with any other forums.

I am logged in, since I write these. Problem is I can not see it. Very strange, since I did not change anything in my computer. I tried to log out and in again but it won't help.

Screen capture won't help. It will only capture what's not there anymore.

I know all the threads that I commented had a mark to the right of the thread titles before. That is gone now.

There has definitely been a change. Clicking the Insert Image or Insert Link brings up a new pop up window I have never seen before.

Time for admin to have a look at the negative side effects of the change.

It's an small check icon to tell you that you have subscribed to a particular thread, ie, you have posted comment(s) in the thread.

Yeah, I realised it too, it's gone. With thousands of threads, it would be quite difficult for me to trace too which thread I have posted comments, lest I look in Search function.

On this note, even the iTrader is gone?

These are the ones I see when I've posted a reply in a particular thread...if you hold the mouse over it, it will tell you how many posts you have in that thread...still works for me.

it's NOT a subscription checkmark, it's a shortcut to the first new post since you were last on the site...it's even on threads where I HAVEN'T posted a reply!

YES! IT IS BACK! Whoever fixed it...

Mike, the one to the left of thread title is a shortcut to the first new post, the one similar to that, but to the far right from the thread title is a subscription checkmark. You should see that everywhere where you have commented, at least I think that it is so by default.

Anyway, I think I close this thread now, so nobody bumps with more comments. It's working again, so it is best to let this thread die.

Just to add : The admins were fixing some stuff on the server/database, and therefore there are some changes every now and then that will be fixed/changed. Please be patient and use the feedback section of the forums to report such cases. Cheers.
