WaterFest 2007

WaterFest 2007 will take place from August 25th to October 7th at places like Marina Bay and East Coast Park, as an extension of National Day celebrations.

The six-week long WaterFest 2007 will showcase a range of water sports and water-related activities from next month.

Some highlights of the festival include the FINA Marathon Swimming World Cup, the AVIVA Ironman competition and Splash Battle Zone.

In addition, water sport enthusiasts will have the chance to try their hand at banana boating, and jet skiing - for free.

Anyone has more details like the layout plan? Will the distance be very similar to HSBC one held last year at bedok reservoir? Cos' i oni can reach max 200mm lehz..

If shoot from floating platform, the distance should be closer.

i tink HSBC is way much closer. If by the esplanade, quite far. Max 200..no choice have to crop. dont worry, just bring the max zoom lens, you have 2 days to shoot. good luck

Its ok..we have different arena of interest..but at least we share a common interest in shooting..

Due to the stunts they're performing also i don't think they'll perform too close to the shoreline / floating platform
