My error 58 just came back -_-"""

haha.. It hasn't happened in a long time.. after I sent in my KM5D to fix the problem sometime last year.. But today as I was shooting my first frame, the camera hanged again. Of course other than some inconvenience, and maybe lost photo opportunities that slips by when your camera has a cold start, theres really no functional problem...So i am not about to send my camera in for servicing..

But just wondering, how many of you have a "relapse" of the error 58 even after you sent in your camera for repair?

Does Sony still provide servicing for out-of-warranty cameras affected by the error58 problem?

I think they still provide free service for the err58 problem. Mine was change more than a year ago, so the problem come back quite some time ago, but still hasn't got time to send in yet, may be after this trip.

yeah... mine also have problem after the change... i will be sending it in again when i get back to SG end of this year

these things seem to happen in a batch! my 5D displayed the same problem last weekend, only this time, it didn't hang, but the first frame was black. RATS... and it was a good shot of my son...
