Default Focusing factors

Guys, just wanna check with you how you check if focusing is at its sharpest.

i always, tend to regret most of my shots when i check with my pc.

because my cameras viewfinder is so small, i cant really judge if im focusing rightly.

when i look at the viewfinder, it looks sharp. but when i check it after, find that focus is sharp somewhere but not on my subject.

does Dioptre Adjustment affects the focus?

sorry for the newbie question...

Try using the focus lock indicator in your view finder to get a better judgement if your shot is in focus or not.

Also if your Dioptre isn't adjusted, by looking through the view finder, what you'll see would be blur.
