I'm new in the world of macro. How do u get really close? I owned a Tamron 90mm but cannot get really that close. Care to share how you managed such close-up.

Thanks

These are done with closeup filters which allows magnification ratios of more than 1:1 (which incidentally is the limit for your lens) Alternatively, you can also reverse a short lens against a long one to multiply the magnification ratio. I.e. 50mm reversed on a 100mm will give you 2:1 and a 50mm reversed on a 200mm will give you 4:1

hope this helps,

Another great dragonfly shot. It's so clear it almost looks unreal.

Now im confused. You said #1 is combine with 5 images #2 is combined with 6 images. How did you combined? Is this HDR by Photomatix or just blended in Photoshop (DRI)
