Hi all,
Basically I like the A710 very much since it has 6x zoom plus IS. Its going to be very helpful on landshots. However, I have read that A710 has very slow flash recycling time, probably due to the fact it uses only 2 AA batteries. A630/A640 on the other hand, has a bigger sensor but no IS and only 4x zoom. Will the slow flash recycling time make a big difference UW? wish I could afford a strobe.... Please kindly advise, thanks! |

dont think the flash recycling is a deal-breaker. if i'm not wrong, its about 4-5 seconds, right?
that's probably the time it takes for the image preview to disappear (usually 4 seconds interval, cos 2 seconds is too short!), for you to recompose, and finally shoot. your shot-to-shot time is probably more than the flash recycle time, so don't worry too much about it. i've never had to wait for the camera before even with my A95 and older cameras, so i don't see this as an issue. HTH! |
