    Default Wedding lense?

    Hi there guys,i've got another question.What is a good lense for a wedding,especially those held indoors which not much light to work with.I can bump up the Iso but things won't look as good so any recommendations? my budget is around $1500.And i don't really use flash guns.

    You can get a 24/1.4 or a 35/1.4 paired with an 85/1.8, should be around $2k used. You'd definitely gonna need a flash unless you're not gonna shoot a single formal group portrait.

    If you insist on no flash, then fast prime is the way to go. The 50mm f/1.4 and 35mm f/2 would be a good combo.

    50 f1.4 + sigma 30 f1.4 + 17-55 f2.8.

    You'll need a wide angle lens, then know what your style is and get that lens.
    There isn't a right lens for everyone. I shoot with a 17-35mm and 70-200mm, while others shoot with a 17-35/55mm and a 28-70mm.

    Why not follow another photographer and be the backup/2nd photographer to see which lens suits you.

    most versatile lens for the 30D in this situation is the 17-55 2.8 IS
    and it fits your budget.
