Hi bros of ClubSnap

Im looking for a new cam that could get gd results from niteshots, noting too big or too ex, best everything i need should be not more than 1k.. so pls help me !! Im now looking at canno S5IS or Panisonic LX2 what do u guys think? Where will be a gd shop to buy from? Could japan/osaka be cheaper, as my pal will be heading there for work?

from what i know, japan's electronic is very expansive.. and in the whole world singapore got the most resonable electronic according the strait time.
for night photography, u will need a good camera. in term of sharpness (pixel). ofcourse tripod is a must.
