Am a newbie to Canon..
Can anyone tell me what the difference between mkII and 1st version for 16-35f2.8L? Is the mkII significantly sharper? Especially wide open at f2.8? Thanks in advance ![]() |

my first impressions from trying out the lens is that its not much better than the old in controlling edge distortion compared to the nikon 17-35. I think the domain of wideangle zooms is still very much in nikon's favor at the moment.
