Default A Wedding in Bangkok

The bride and groom are friends of my JC mates and it was a small miracle that i even got to shoot the wedding. Thing is, the date of their wedding had to be changed. It was originally planned for 28th July 07. However, they needed to bring it forward to 2nd June 07. They smsed me when i was in Paris doing my shoot earlier this year. Naturally I was disappointed that i could no longer shoot their wedding as I was already engaged on 2nd June. It would have been fun...staying in the same serviced apartments as my JC mates, chilling out and shooting the wedding in Bangkok.

However, quite biazzarely, the 2nd June couple smsed me an hour later to asked if they could change their dates and you guessed it...to the 28th July. And so...it was a straight swap and more amazingly, within the hour!

The wedding was as I expected it to be. It was beautiful and quite easily one of the best weddings I have shot. The bride and groom were really relaxed, clearly having fun and being good hosts. The church, Christ Church, is beautiful and well decorated. The dinner venue, La Villa, an Italian restaurant, had excellent food, a great band (They played Gnarl Barley's Crazy...now how about that?) and a chef who insists Italian cured ham beats the Jamon from Spain (I disagree... ha. He was proud of that leg of ham and told me it even had a chop of quality burned onto it leg. I took a closer look at it and jokingly told him it said Product of Barcelona! Heh ... That shook him up!).

I only hope that these photos reflect the days event Cheers.

Hi,

I use Canon's 5D. But do note that the pics have also been post processed in photoshop. That said, the camera still produces amazing color!

Cheers
