Default Sepoms Paper

Hi guys, i just got a Pixma iP6320D printer from my aunt. And well, dad got me some Sepoms paper =S. So far printouts are not good, consistently overexposing and stuff. I have Canon Photo Paper Plus Semi-Gloss also and the printouts on that are good though.

My sepoms papers are:

Premium Glossy Photo Paper 180gsm 96% brightness

and

Alumina Premium Matte Photo Paper 240gsm 97% brightness

Any bros here got experience with these papers? What paper profile to use when printing to get best results?

Sepom is a big company. Best you call them and ask them.

Try using the canned profiles for the Canon papers. Usually u need to get the paper profiled. U can visit the Sepom website and download the paper profiles for your printer model. They should have some canned profiles available for Canon printers.

Try Ilford Pearl or Glossy... pretty similar effects to Epson's corresponding papers... it's much cheaper and even cheaper if u are a Challenger member... I prefer semi-gloss now... no need to use gloss optimiser... also nice!
