Default Where to scan negatives into jpeg?

Any recommendation where to scan negatives into jpeg. My negatives are almost 15 years old, I think they are well kept and am concern if the quality of the scan.

if you have the time, get a dedicated film scanner as old negative mostly require touch up which will cost you a bomb in any labs.

If you have a large quantity and if the images are really valuable (or priceless), you should consider getting a dedicated film scanner. For 35mm film, get the Nikon Super Coolscan 5000. A lower end model Coolscan V is available but get the Coolscan 5000 if you can afford it. I haven't checked the price for a long time but believe it should cost around $2,000.

Thanks. You have just reminded me that I should probably get my negatives scanned too... before they rot! And thanks to the others for their kind recommendations too. Keep them coming.

You are very kind. Where is your house?

I don't mind to pay you a fee even, if you are using a good machine.

    Frames la!
But i'm only guessing the figures... could be 200, could be 50 (maybe will not want to scan all)... but you get the idea its not like hundreds or thousands.
Btw, you stay pretty near me. I'm moving to Marine Parade tmr. Probably need some time to pack n sort out everything first. Will contact you again if u're keen to scan for me.
