How do you actually do HDR?

I've googled, but couldn't really find something.

You have to have at least three bracketed shots in the form of 1 underexposed - metered exposure - 1 overexposed (actual stop variation is up to you). You then merge these three files using the Photoshop HDR plug-in (CS2 minimum).

I have tried it once and the result was quite good and should give you a final image that has detail in both the highlights and shadows.

There were already lots of discussions on hdr here before. DO a forum search with "hdr*" and you'll find.

    Hey Bro,

When you do buy the photomatrix prog, check out this hdr tutorial:

    http://www.vanilladays.com/hdr-guide

The guy's works are quite good, and he clears up some concepts quite well.

    Hope it helps.

Oh yea, just google for something like "HDR techniques" and you'll get a ton of pages on it.
