Default IR for E500

hey guys... how do i convert a olympus e-500 into an IR camera? do i just have to get a filter or must i do sumthing else.. thanks

You just need to get an IR Filter for that (HOYA 72R is good)

for e500.. the camera doest need o be mod rite? i can directly use a filter?

you can use the filter directly ..but long exposure time required, u can't set WB and u need to shoot raw....
