    i am also looking for the Slik U6600.

    May i know where is selling it for $36?

    I saw one in Peninsular and its selling for $75!!!

    My gosh.....that's more than double of what you mentioned man.

    That price allows you to bargain. If you don't wish to, you can get an equote from Cathay Photo or MSColor before going down.

    It does seem to be the norm at MSColor. Last time when I went there to get a polarizer, the price list they had show $89, whereas the equote I got was $52...

    Hi eagles_creek, sorry for the late reply, somehow was unsubscribred from this thread. I got the price from the e-quotation from MS-Color. You should goto the website to get the e-quotation then print it out when u go down to buy else they might not give ya at the price

    The major difference for tripod is due to the stability and max weight load.

    Lighter material like carbon fibre will make the price much more expensive.

    Better to buy something you can grow into, right? Unless cost is really a major factor.

    Once in a while this combo will be on sale at 120 or so.
    Wow... where to get the combo for $120?
