Thread: Tree Achoring Prambanan

    Default Tree Achoring Prambanan

Originally wanted to make silhoutte shot of tree behind the Prambanan complex but it was disaster, as the tree blended with the complex as one gigantic shadowy mess.

1/250s at f/8.0 19mm (taken 11 Jun 06, two weeks after the earthquake)

I played around post processing and pull exposure up two stops, which isolated the tree but it is pretty obviously overexposed. However, I thought i liked the effect but would like to seek your opinion(s) on this effect. Definitely have to work on the title too.

Does this work for you? Or any other advise. Thanks in advance.

    like to see more background.
the effect is good, the over exposed parts looks ok overall
