    Yes, it's confirmed.

    1. It was announced on the news yesterday.
    2. My friend called up one of the professors to enquire.

i will be darned... if the two weeks extention were not happen, there may be a media blowout. Channel NewsAsia, Channel 8 and Channel U had already announced that exams MAY be delayed by two weeks.

Sheesh... seems like there were some objections regarding the postponement....

The first e-mail by the Students' Affairs was recalled. The revised one goes like this:

The postponement of examinations by two weeks was discussed at the student union organized forum last night as a means to be fair to students who are being asked to voluntarily not attend lectures because they have been in infected areas within the last ten days. After receiving numerous student feedback on the impact of such a move, the university administration is working on mitigating the impact by introducing alternative means. We expect to be able to make an announcement by the afternoon of 3rd April on this issue. Stay tuned to iGEMS for the latest.

Dun mean to pour cold waters lah, but seriously, the postponement will most likely be retracted. At least not for 2 weeks. Feedback I gathered from lecturers and tutors was very negative.

yeah, as if the "online petition" thingy is going to be of use.

dont be naive and go study for your exams lah!

As a matter of fact, I don't think it will be of much use either. This was what the polytechnic students used as well, if I remember correctly.

I believe NTU has far more implications to consider than just plainly worrying about its reputation.

In any case, whether it works or not, everyone will still have to study hard for their exams.
