Hi guys,
My old D100 recently konked out due to a fault focus motor, whenever the shutter is pressed sounds like the gear teeth are worn or something.. refuses to focus the lens... Any idea on the damage if I were to send to Nikon to repair it? Thanks, Tsentsan |

Suggest u give a call and consider... the repair might cost too much since 2nd hand is so cheap now.

Sounds like someone forcefully turned the focusing ring without switching to MF to disengage the drive shaft.
