    Smile CLR Filter

Went to Cathay & was recommendad by the saleman that the CLR Polarizser for HOYA ard $70 Plus & another German brand ard $170plus. He told me that the German brand is better. I was actually quite skeptical. Can someone tell me if it is true & what the 'German' brand filter is so much better than the HOYA...

Also where to find the best deal? Cathay?

    Thankz...

For Circular Polarizer, look for slim type Nikon Cir Polarizer 77mm. Use step-up (or step down???) ring to fit your current lens.

Should be CPL. I bought a CPL from them recently too and they were recommending me the B+W too. From the pricing, it should be Hoya/Tokina & B+W.

    1. Yes, the German brand is better.

    2. Cathay has fair prices, not the cheapest. You can try TCW, MS Photo, etc. for better prices.

BW is German and is reputable. Cathay gives a fair price. TCW doesnt carry BW as far as i noe. U can try MS or even Oriental

    Would be a fine combinations....
With the cheaper 50mm f1.8 lens it can be used as standard outdoor tour shots...
