Musk lorikeet snacking on eucalyptus nectar...

As a side comment, I need some advice: how do I avoid blowing out the reds? The rest of the pic seems properly exposed... it's the 3rd time this has happened, it's the reds that lose detail.

Using a 20D if thats of any help!

desaturated the red channel.

Oh ok.. can that be done during the actual capture or only PP? 'coz by the time PP the detail's gone....
