i'm wondering if "Space" is something similar to the workspace found in Linux where u can open & select diff apps in diff desktop space. oh ya, & the native 64bits thingy, sounds good.

but it'll not be available till Oct.

There are rumours that Leopard will have ZFS as the default filesystem, replacing HFS.

As of nw, IIRC, ZFS still can't make it as master boot partition... yet.

how full is full? that begs the question. so far in the OS X history, there r always patches & they come in big sizes. i did a 10.4.6 to 10.4.8 patch (along with some new stuff within the patch) & it showed more than 250MB of download.

Advantages? To be very honest, my understanding of ZFS is shallowest at its deepest.

U might wanna google abt ZettaByte File System to know more. I din touch this.

The only question is: "Will I let the leopard eat my tiger?". And the price of upgrading will be?
    That's 2 questions I suppose.

anything that is rushed out to market is normally buggy to the point of being unstable
b4 you applied the patch, was the OS unstable?

no but still apply the patch juz like the others.

rushing out to market will depends on ur pt of view, as consumer or as apple's programmer. i seriously dun think apple's programmers have time to smell the roses... (or MS's programmers for that matter) dun think OS stability will be the issue for leopard cos its got the good old X as a base but i believe its more of new features being buggy that needs the extra attention.

    u upgrading?

Don't even think of buying it until at least 6 months to a year when they fix all the bugs.

They are trying to rush the Leopard out but look at what happen to SAFARI 3.0 when they rush out.
