Default Acute Matte focusing screens available for D200?

Was wondering if anyone had any any experience or knows how to get an Acute Matt focusing screen for D200?

I know there is a focusing indicator (green dot) but will prefer to see on screen focusing for MF lenses.

Thanks
Kal

This is kind of similar to the Katz Eye focusing screen replacement. Just wondering if anyone has any go with it and if there are any sample pictures on how it looks from the viewfinder!

Regards
Kal

I'm very interested in ordering one to try out for my D200 (They are available for many models too). There is a discount for mass orders too.....just wondering who else may be interested.

Not difficult after mustering the nerves, but when doing it quite simple actually, but once you flip the viewer glass dust are attracted to the split screen that you are about to replace.

So do it is a clean room if possible.

Note that split prism focusing screen like Katz Eye will affect metering, spot metering in particular.

Don't worry too much about the dust. Using a blower can usually solve the problem.

Tools should not be much of a problem. You need steady hands because the D200 screen is not designed to be user replaceable like the D2 series. But I think Katz Eye should provide a step by step guide. The only thing that's holding me back is that it affects the spot meter and the price is not exactly cheap.
