B+W Filter Screw Thread for Cokin Filter

Sorry for a stupid newbie question.

I have a 77mm UV filter 010. (not slim version)
am i able to screw another 77mm filter onto this filter?
i am considering to get the cokin filter, and i do not wish to remove my B+W lens filter in order to attach cokin. so check if able to attach the cokin adapter onto the B+W filter.

I'm guessing you're using it on the 17-55?

You may encounter vignetting, depending on what aperture you're using, and the scene itself.
