was $768? hmm... when is that "was"?
It is a common tactic to make you feel you get a good buy, you are spending $299 for $768. But before you really go for it, please do some market research on it, so you won't regret later. Calm down and reconsider it... |

I believe Tangs has been selling Dry Boxes from Rodex for many years already.
I got a 120 litre one from Tangs around 1987 (that's like 20 years ago). There's a sticker on the dry box that says "Marketed by Rodex". The brand was Eureka but it looks very similar to the one sold by Rodex/Tangs now. In any case, the dry cabinet has been switched on 24x7 since then, and still going strong. As mentioned in one of my earlier posts, having an analog humidity meter is very convenient - no need to bother about battery for the display. |

I actually was considering buying it coule of months back, but was hestitant as I checked and found that they are using the 2 pin plug, and if you noticed, nowdays all electrical appliances selling are mostly 3 pins (SSIR regulation, I think.)
Then another thing is that they don't have the SSIR sticker on their power supply as I have seen on other appliances. As this is going to be on 24/7, I thougfht I had better go for something which at least has a three pin plug, But then again, maybe I am too sensitive. \ Cheers SS |
