Default finally...for now, the waiting (aka agony) is over

yes, the delivery man showed up with the R-D1s.
Did a few shots and I must say it's somewhat different from SLR - certainly more fun to use.

Let's see if I can sneak out during lunch today to do some shots.

Oh, is there any good book/websites about techniques/guides on using range finders?

Any sample iso1600 images?

Hmm, some of the images look ok while others were kinda fake looking with lotsa pixels visible.

How much you paid for,where to get it?

haven't done any yet. I've posted some pics in the images thread but taken at iso200.
I'm sure you can find loads of it on the web.

got it from UK, second hand. Paid about S$2800 with 2 extra batteries.
I think somebody mentioned there's one at TCW
