Default GPS Navigator - Which one to get?

There are many out there but which one should I get. Have anyone tried the one recently launched by Packard Bell? How are the maps in term of accuracy and quality? Can it compare with more established brand like Garmin Nuvi or Tibo? All feedbacks welcome. Thanks.

Today's Digital life has a good review of Garmin, Mapking, NavFone.

Under POI (point of interest) searches: Garmin was put as difficult. What does that mean? For those who are using it, is it difficult to use and locate places to go?

thanks in advance.

I had used 2 Garmin handheld GPS devices before, it's one of the few companys than only produce GPS devices.

Just like when I want to buy phone, I only think of Nokia.

I am planning to get a Garmin for my coming roadtrip to Toronto and New York. Any basic/entry model to recommend? Looking at the Nuvi series but not sure the 200 or 300 series.

Any comments/feedbacks from anyone?

Sounds cool. How much did it cost in S$ for this entire setup? Also is it easy to install in car or do we need to go to workshop etc? Cheers.
