What lamp/lighting do you recommanded for simple product shoot?

How simple?? If really simple ones, I'd get a simple table lamp and correct for the WB later. I've bought clip on lamps for as low as $6.90. (without bulbs of course, the Philips Tornado bulbs I got was much more expensive than the lamps itself. )
