can we have the shortcut button on top of each "New Post" and "Reply" page?
vBulletin is totally capable of that and it doesn't take up much resources. For those interested, other supported tags can be found @ http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/misc.php?do=bbcode |

Hi Darren, thanks for asking.
It's will save a lot of people time and people from asking "how to attached pictures" with this. It's just a prompt and will not take up much resources on the server if implemented. Please do consider. This is how it can look like....2 screenies. ![]() ![]() Closer view... ![]() When the button is clicked, just paste the URL of the image. Of course copy to the clipboard if using Firefox by right click on any image we want to post and choose "Copy Image Location". ![]() |

you can't. you need the pic to be online somewhere before you can attached.
Attaching from hdd, normally, forums do not allow that and even if they do, the size is very very limited. |

Something interesting, a friend in office just log into CS and he does have the shortcut URL thingy. Is this not made available to everyone and only selected users only? or is this an error somewhere causing the problems????

It is available to everyone under User CP > Edit Options: Change Basic Editor to WYSIWYG. Save and you have the options. Miscellaneous Options Message Editor Interface When posting messages to the forums or other members, there are three interface types available to you. The simplest of these is a simple text box, while the last is a fully-fledged WYSIWYG editor, which allows you to format your text as you want it and see the results immediately. Depending upon the capabilities of your web browser, you may not be able to use all of these options. If you experience problems when posting messages, try switching to a different interface type. Basic Editor - A simple text box Standard Editor - Extra formatting controls Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing Message Editor Interface: |
