    Dunno leh. I left the white borders on the pictures I don't want to crop to reduce to exactly 8R size (I print at home).

    I didn't cut away the borders.. think i just submit it as it is.. scarley cut wrongly.. haha..

    S8R at miao laan is $2.50.....and 8R is $2.....

    Why not? What's wrong with self-printed?

    You're second-guessing the judges.

    I will make another second-guess: The hardcopies are just to ease/aid them in the judging and selection process. They might need to shuffle around the hardcopies between a group of judges, and may need to pin the entries on some corkboard or something to view from a comfortable distance, etc. in their judging process, simply because it is more natural to handle physical photos than to view them through computer monitors. In the end they will end up reviewing the softcopies of the finalists' photos if they really want to scrutinise the image quality (which is very likely as the photos will go towards advertising).

    btw it states that it's open to all SG citizens and residents..
    foreigners allowed? (entering student cat. here, got student pass etc)
